Mr. Figueroa has been with Samuel Gompers Career & Technical Education High School for over 21 years and has been in education for over 24 years. His title here is Assistant Principal Attendance and Physical Education. His secret to success has been his personality and his ability to build good relationships.
Mr. Figueroa has been recognized for 10 year member of the Council of Supervisors and Administrators. He 200 wins in his career and 5 division championships as a baseball coach and has received the Certificate of Excellence City Wide Health and Physical Education. Mr. Figueroa is a member of the New York Coaches Association and the New York State American Association of Health Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. He is also on the Board of the New York City Chapter. Mr. Figueroa has a Bachelors Degree from Herbert H. Leman and two Master degrees in Education and Administration & Supervision from the City University of New York.
